Account setup and Credit Analyst
Summary
As a Credit Analyst, the primary responsibility is to evaluate and manage credit risk while supporting the company's financial stability and business objectives. This involves assessing customers' credit applications and financial statements, monitoring account performance, managing credit risk, and maintaining accurate documentation. Collaboration with internal teams and proactive communication with customers are integral to the role.
Essential Duties
Credit Analysis and Assessment:
- Evaluate customers' credit applications and financial statements to assess creditworthiness.
- Conduct credit investigations using financial ratios, credit reports, and industry data.
- Determine appropriate credit limits and payment terms based on risk assessment.
- Regularly review the performance of existing credit accounts and adjust credit limits as necessary with management approval.
- Monitor accounts for delinquency and trends that may indicate financial distress.
- Proactively communicate with customers regarding payment terms, purchase terms, and conditions and set up the customer’s account if needed.
- Collaborate with the sales team, customer relations team, and accounting team to balance customer relationships with the company’s risk exposure
- Identify and escalate potential credit risks to management for timely intervention.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for management review.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of credit evaluations and decisions.
- Provide insights and trends in customer credit behavior through monthly periodic reports.
- Submit to the headquarters in Japan for approval
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales team to support business objectives while managing credit risk.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to share insights on credit issues and customer financial health.

9:00-18:00

Salary/Benefit
60-100K (DOE)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, or a related field
- Experience in the Test and Measurement Equipment industry is preferred.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial statements.
- Proficient in credit analysis tools and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and credit management software.
