We are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to join our truck sales team. The ideal candidate will oversee credit operations, develop credit policies, and manage risk for our financing programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures for equipment sales financing
  • Analyze complex financial statements and credit reports for individuals & businesses to make informed lending decisions
  • Evaluate and approve high-value credit applications for equipment purchases and leases
  • Collaborate with sales teams to structure deals that balance risk and revenue objectives
  • Monitor and manage the credit portfolio, identifying trends and potential risks
  • Negotiate terms with customers and develop strategies for challenging credit situations
  • Implement and maintain credit scoring models and risk assessment tools
  • Liaise with legal and collections teams to resolve delinquent accounts
  • Prepare regular reports on portfolio performance, risk metrics, and market trends
  • Stay current with industry regulations and ensure compliance in all credit activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; or relevant master's degree preferred
  • At least 2+ years of experience in commercial credit analysis,
  • Strong understanding of equipment financing and leasing industry
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in financial modelling and risk assessment techniques
  • Experience with credit management and CRM systems
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with asset-based lending practices
