Credit Analyst I

Contract
Summary:
Review customer financial condition and maximize accounts receivable collections, provide customer service and support directives as prescribed with the objective of promoting the timely payment of all due receivables. This position will also be in charge of driving rootcause and resolution of invoice and contractual disputes for CPS Services
Responsibilities:
Review customer discrepancies or disputes to resolution and document root cause.
Provide support in execution of timely payment, and minimize risk of customer disputes.
Develop relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers and provide customer service support.
Follow up with internal and external customers to ensure prompt payment of receivables.
Maintain accurate collection files and updates. Maintain electronic collection notes for each customer account.
Abide by Robinson-Pattman Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Cannons of Business Credit Ethics, and Eaton Ethics Policy at all times.
Bachelor's degree (BS, BA, BBS) preferably wth Finance, Business Administration, Economics focus
1 year credit/ collection analyst or related experience
Strong skill set in Microsoft office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Systems (Salesforce/SAP/)
Strong business writing and professional communication skills;
Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills;
Strong ethics, values and the ability to influence and impact others' decision making;
Ability to deal with ambiguity and make decisions under minimum supervision;
Strong organizational skills
Professional presence.
