Credit Collections ManagerC & B Operations has a rare opportunity for a Credit Collections Manager to lead our team in Sioux Falls, SD. Reporting to the Controller, this position will provide leadership and oversight of credit and accounts receivable practices, partner with operations and leadership teams to support effective processes, manage risk and drive consistent execution across the organization. The Credit Collection Manager is responsible for interviewing, hiring and training new staff. Establish, maintain, and enforce consistent credit and collection processes across all locations2. Review, approve, and manage customer credit applications and credit limits based on credit analysis and company policy3. Partner with store leadership to drive timely A/R follow-up, including review of aged receivables, action plans, and escalation where necessary4. Serve as the primary liaison with third-party collections agencies, including placement decisions, oversight, and resolution tracking5. Support stores with the lien process, including guidance on timing, documentation, and enforcement when required6. Monitor credit and collection performance and coach store teams on opportunities for improvement7. Provide hands-on leadership, training, and support to ensure consistent execution of credit and collections practices8. Research, resolve, and escalate customer issues in a timely and appropriate manner9. Effectively communicate with leadership, including regular reporting on A/R trends, risk exposure, and collection activity10. Conduct periodic reviews of credit and collection procedures and recommend improvements as needed11. Directly manage and hold employee accountable, responsible for lockbox processing, customer overrides, and related A/R data entry12. Drive ongoing customer account clean-up, including maintaining accurate contact information and transitioning customers to email statements13. Other duties as assigned.Required Education and Experience:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)2. CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred3. 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role4. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting5. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel6. Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills7.
