In construction project management, short haul trucking is a highly fragmented component of site development that the Iron Sheepdog platform brings together in a simple and easy to use solution. Founded in 2017 and based in Williamsburg, Virginia, Iron Sheepdog is quickly growing and looking to add talented individuals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Credit Manager, head of the Credit Department, the Credit Operations Associate will support all credit and collection activities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

●        Administer credit qualification processes and establish recommended credit limits

●        Monitor and enforce Credit Policies and Procedures around collections, payments, etc

●        Provide reporting visibility of exposure to sales team and management

●        Meet with customers regularly regarding payment status

●        Liaise with external counsel as needed on collection efforts

●        Assist management with additional supporting functions as needed

●        Must be able to work the hours necessary in order to complete various tasks on time

Competencies:

●        Must possess strong communication and analytical skills

●        Proficient in Microsoft office products with strong skills in excel

●        Must be able to work independently and across the various teams at Iron Sheepdog

●        Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

●        Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines

●        Excellent customer service skills

Critical Success Factors:

●        To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty as defined above and by management

Qualifications:

●        Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or General Business

●        At least 5-7 years of credit experience (Underwriting and collections management)

●        Knowledge of construction and related industries a plus

●        Quickbooks experience is a plus
