Job Title: Credit Risk Business Analyst

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze credit risk exposure, trends, and key risk indicators to support decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain credit risk models and scoring methodologies.
  • Support the implementation of risk policies, procedures, and compliance standards (e.g., Basel III, IFRS 9, CCAR).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance credit risk reporting and dashboards.
  • Perform stress testing, scenario analysis, and credit portfolio risk assessments.
  • Work with IT teams to ensure data integrity, automation, and optimization of risk management systems.
  • Support credit risk governance, risk appetite frameworks, and regulatory reporting.
  • Assist in credit underwriting, loan approvals, and counterparty risk assessments.
  • Provide business insights using SQL, Python, R, SAS, Power BI, or Tableau.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience in credit risk analysis, financial risk management, or banking.
  • Strong knowledge of credit risk modeling, stress testing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, SAS, or other data analysis tools.
  • Experience with risk management platforms (Moody's, Bloomberg, SAS Risk, or Murex).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • MBA, CFA, FRM, or PRM certification.
  • Experience in retail banking, commercial lending, or investment risk analysis.
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
  • Required Security clearance.
