Do you want to work near the shores of Lake Michigan and Lake Leelanau?  Your work environment is a little slice of “heaven” Leelanau County, a small peninsula in gorgeous Northwest Michigan!!!!  Those of us who work and play here consider it a true blessing to be able to take a swim just a minute after leaving the job site and while at work the scenery is breathtaking!  So get ready for Paradise and you can work too!!!  We do high end custom homes!  We are looking for a Construction Foreman to lead a crew, plan and oversee the building process of our custom homes from start to finish

  • Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

  • Retirement Plan (3% company match IRA)

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects especially during the framing stages of the project.

  • Must be very comfortable reading blueprints and know how to frame a house efficiently.

  • Work with subcontractors and vendors and delegate their responsibilities.

  • Must be willing to strive to do perfect finish detail work.

  • Report project progress to client and front office.

  • Must be a leader who is patient and willing to teach the trade.

  • Must be a forward thinker, providing quality work and be able to see and resolve issues.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years building experience in the field.
