We're hiring a Meter Install Crew Leader to manage a team which includes installing/replacing water or electric meters, overseeing safety, quality, and daily operations, handling logistics like equipment, customer notifications, excavation, meter assembly, testing, and ensuring code compliance. This opportunity requires strong leadership, technical, and problem-solving skills for City, County, and State Water Authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate a crew of installers and technicians.
• Project Execution: Lead the physical installation of meters, including excavation, assembly, and testing backflow devices.
• Safety & Quality: Ensure work meets safety standards, codes, and manufacturer specifications.
• Customer Service: Communicate with customers about service interruptions.
• Technical Tasks: Perform flow/accuracy tests, troubleshoot issues, and work with electrical circuits (for solar/electric).
• Logistics: Manage equipment, materials, and daily work schedules.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in utility installation or construction.
• Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of local codes and construction practices.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work in various conditions (roofs, attics, etc.).
