Criminal Case Manager Apply
Employee resignation results in our search for a criminal case manager, whose primary duties are to coordinate the criminal case flow and related processes; ensure proper handling of cases; and ensure cases are completed in compliance with mandated time limitations. Additional duties include assisting potential public defender clients at the Altoona district court with completion of applications and gathering of complaints; entering case status information and dates into the Unified Case Management (UCM) system; coordinates the tracking schedule with the public defender attorneys, district attorneys, court administration office and the sheriff's office; files criminal information and closes files when appropriate.
Requirements
Qualified applicants must hold a high school diploma or GED; possess two years' working experience in business or administrative field, with some knowledge or background in legal environment preferred; English fluency; demonstrated ability to maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers; accuracy and attention to detail; a strong customer service orientation; ability to plan, set schedules, and meet deadlines; experience maintaining confidential information; and computer literacy. Job must be performed onsite in the Blair County Courthouse in Hollidaysburg, PA, and employer cannot provide work visa sponsorship.
