Criminal Attorney - Timonium, MD

Salary: $110K -150K plus bonus/commission (based on experience)

Overview

Albers and Associates is seeking an experienced Criminal Law Attorney to join our practice in

Timonium, MD. Our team handles a broad range of criminal defense matters, including

misdemeanors, felonies, and complex white-collar cases. The ideal candidate is passionate about

defending clients, skilled in courtroom advocacy, and comfortable managing multiple cases

independently while collaborating with a supportive legal team.


Key Responsibilities

● Represent clients in criminal matters, including misdemeanors, felonies, DUI/DWI, white-collar

crimes, and post-conviction proceedings

● Draft legal documents, motions, plea agreements, and court filings

● Conduct legal research and provide sound advice to clients

● Negotiate plea deals and advocate for clients in court proceedings

● Manage case files, client communications, and deadlines efficiently

● Collaborate with paralegals, investigators, and other attorneys to ensure high-quality defense

strategies

● Maintain compliance with all state and local rules of professional conduct


Required Qualifications

● Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

● Licensed to practice law in Maryland

● Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing criminal law

● Strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills

● Excellent oral advocacy and courtroom presentation skills

● Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively


Preferred Qualifications

● Experience with complex criminal cases, including felonies or white-collar crime

● Proven track record of favorable client outcomes

● Trial experience and familiarity with court procedures in Maryland

● Experience mentoring junior attorneys or paralegals
