Job Description:

  1. Perform CT scans and general radiographic procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
  2. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, explaining exams and ensuring patient comfort
  3. Administer contrast media as required, following safety guidelines and monitoring patients for adverse reactions
  4. Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively, adjusting technical factors to obtain optimal images
  5. Review images for quality and accuracy before submission to radiologists
  6. Maintain radiation safety standards and comply with ALARA principles
  7. Accurately document procedures, patient history, and contrast usage in the medical record
