Ct Technician Apply
Job Summary:
This position is for an X-Ray and CT Technician who will be responsible for performing radiographic and computed tomography procedures on patients, primarily from the Emergency Department and inpatients, with some outpatient exams possible. The role requires proficiency in basic X-ray exams and CT exams, including complex studies such as CTA's of the Head/Carotid and PE studies.

Responsibilities:
- Perform basic X-ray exams (Chest, Abdomen, extremities, etc.).
- Conduct CT exams, ranging from routine Head, Chest, Abd/Pel, to CTA's of the Head/Carotid and PE studies.
- Perform portable X-ray procedures.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and safety during procedures.
- Maintain and clean equipment.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
- Answer phone calls and direct them accordingly.
- Coordinate equipment/supply needs.
- Notify appropriate department of equipment malfunction.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- ARRT (R) certification
- BLS certification
- NY State License
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, or Emergency Department settings
- Experience with Portables X-ray Procedure
- General Skills Experience with Extremities, Abdomen/GI, Spine/Pelvis, Head, Chest/ Thorax, Musculoskeletal, Lower Extremities, Upper Extremities
- ARRT (R) certification
- BLS certification
- NY State License
