As a CT Technologist at Talent Consultants, you will play an essential role in our client's healthcare team, responsible for producing high-quality computed tomography images that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Your work will involve operating advanced imaging equipment, ensuring accurate positioning of patients, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct CT scans as per medical protocols and physician requests, ensuring quality imaging.
  • Prepare and position patients for examinations, addressing any concerns to ensure their comfort.
  • Administer intravenous contrast agents under physician supervision and monitor for any adverse reactions.
  • Maintain precise documentation for each imaging procedure and adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to discuss imaging findings and ensure timely communication of results.
  • Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Provide compassionate patient care and support during examinations, especially for patients requiring assistance.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field is required.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • State licensure in Radiology or Imaging Technology as required by law.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred or to be obtained within one year of employment.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
