As part of Pride Global, we deliver flexible workforce solutions while supporting quality patient care and career growth for healthcare professionals.Position OverviewA leading healthcare facility in New Jersey is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures while delivering exceptional patient care. The technologist will be responsible for producing high-quality CT images, maintaining patient safety, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting efficient departmental workflow.This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform CT scans in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.Verify patient identification and screen for allergies or contraindications prior to contrast administration.Assess patient condition before and after contrast injections and report changes to nursing staff or radiologist.Maintain sterility of instruments and field when applicable.Prepare and manage requisitions and patient documentation accurately.Communicate effectively with patients and families to explain procedures and reduce anxiety while maintaining dignity and privacy.Adhere to HIPAA regulations and facility policies.Ensure timely acquisition, processing, and transmission of images in PACS/RIS systems.Notify radiologist of urgent findings and support emergent cases (trauma, stat exams, etc.).Maintain daily, monthly, and ACR quality assurance and quality control standards.Monitor equipment functionality and report malfunctions promptly.Adhere to venipuncture and power injector protocols.Maintain adequate supplies, contrast media, and inventory within scanning rooms.Assist with triaging cases and coordinating emergent and unscheduled procedures when assigned.Maintain cleanliness and organization of CT suite, equipment, and work areas.Participate in inventory management and stocking of supplies.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.ARRT RT (R) Certification.ARRT RT (CT) Certification.Active New Jersey State X-Ray License (NJDEP).Current BLS Certification.Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and contrast administration procedures.Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and high-acuity environments.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience in hospital-based CT settings.Experience handling trauma or emergent imaging cases.Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems.Benefits DisclosurePride Health offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto and home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.EEO StatementPride Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
