Job Title: CT Technologist

Location: Rapid City, SD 57701

Payrate: $77 per hour

Contract Length: 13-week contract

• Heavy trauma population, including:
  • Falls
  • Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVAs)
  • Gunshot Wounds (GSWs)
  • Stabbings
• Scanning Areas:
  • Inpatient, Emergency Department (ED), Outpatient
  • Higher-level scans, such as Angiograms

Scans per Day:

• ED: 60-70 scans per 24 hours
• Inpatient: Varies
• Outpatient: Approximately 50 scans per day

• Siemens scanners only (4 scanners in the department)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT-CT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - CT Certification)

• Must graduate from a Radiology Program that qualifies for ARRT (R) and (CT) certification.
• No state licensure required.

• Preferred: CTA (Computed Tomography Angiography)
• Team-oriented mindset with experience in a facility of similar size and acuity.

• Preferred: EPIC

• No floating required.

• Always staffed with another CT Tech 24/7.

• Varied schedule: Finalized during the interview with leadership.
  • Primarily night shifts.
• Weekend Rotation: Required, details discussed during the interview.
• Call: None required.
• Overtime: Optional.
• Holiday Expectations: Holiday rotation required.
• Approval of Time Off: Managed by the hiring manager during interviews.
