Computed Tomography Techs perform diagnostic imaging using CT scanners, focusing on patient preparation, precise positioning, and operation of the equipment to produce high-quality images for medical evaluation. They administer contrast agents when needed, monitor patients during procedures, and adjust scan parameters to ensure clarity while minimizing radiation exposure. Their work includes reviewing images for accuracy, documenting procedures, and coordinating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
