As a Custodial Worker 1, you will be responsible for performing custodial care and grounds maintenance. You will perform a range of building maintenance duties such as waste collection, dusting furniture and fixtures, sweeping, washing and waxing floors, vacuuming, and washing windows. Additionally, you will manage the upkeep of department grounds and facilities by mowing grass and maintaining shrubs. You will also ensure the safety of department grounds by clearing snow and ice from sidewalks, raking leaves, and clearing minor storm damage when necessary. To carry out your duties, you will utilize various tools and equipment, such as mowers, weed eaters, edgers and other tools. You will be accountable for choosing the appropriate tools for each task, as well as cleaning and maintaining them after use.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
