Custom Home Builder Site Superintendent Apply
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to join our construction team. As a Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities, including subcontractors and laborers
- Coordinate and schedule project activities to ensure timely completion
- Monitor progress and quality of work to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns
- Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues or risks
- Maintain accurate documentation of project progress, including daily reports, photos, and change orders
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors to ensure clear understanding of project requirements
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry
- Solid understanding of construction processes, building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Command authority
You will be:
Creating weekly schedules and holding subs to those schedules
Review scope of work with subs prior to them being hired
Required to verify work is done in accordance with plans and expected quality
To accurately do takeoff of construction materials. CMU, lumber, sheetrock etc
Uphold a clean site
Using basic computer skills. Email, excel, word
Meeting town inspectors onsite and efficiently and with confidence reviewing the job with them
Dealing with utility companies
You will NOT:
Draft contracts for subs
Deal with clients
Running material all day long for employees or subs
Driving far distances btw jobs. All jobsites are within 15 mins of each other

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
