Axios Professional Recruitment is seeking an experienced Customer Care Specialist to support one of our manufacturing clients in Lowell, Michigan. This is a full time, hourly position that reports to the Customer Experience Lead. The Customer Care Specialist is responsible for interacting directly with customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about products, ultimately aiming to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Responsibilities:
- Answer consumer and commercial phone calls, providing timely and effective solutions
- Enter and manage orders within Manage 2000
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding orders, updates, and issue resolution
- Provide weights and measurements for sales quotes
- Communicate with freight forwarders to obtain shipping quotes
- Convert sales quotes into orders and correcting discrepancies as needed
- Coordinate freight shipments and preparing required shipping documentation
Qualifications & Skills:
- Able to think critically and exercise independent judgment and discretion
- Skilled at analyzing data and identifying trends
- Knowledgeable about company products, services, and policies
- Composed under pressure and able to handle stressful situations
- Results-oriented and solution-focused with strong problem-solving abilities
- A collaborative team player
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- An effective communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and willingness to learn
