Customer Quality Engineer - Shrink Bags
Valgroup is hiring an experienced Customer Quality Engineer for our Shrink Bag division!

This position is hands-on technical customer support for Shrink Bags / PVDC, working cross-functionally with Quality, Production, and Sales to meet customer needs. Experience with shrink bag films and equipment in the protein segment is required.
What you will do:
- Provide on-site technical support at customer facilities
- Troubleshoot equipment and product issues
- Manage product inventory levels at customer locations
- Inspect products in response to customer complaints
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Conduct customer training sessions and technical demonstrations
- Identify and recommend product and process improvements
- Support new product launches and customer development initiatives
- Schedule and coordinate customer visits and service activities
- This position can be REMOTE with 25-50% TRAVEL
Skills needed for success:
- Strong technical and mechanical background to support shrink bags in protein market
- Knowledge of processes, including product insertion, vacuum, sealing, and shrink
- Hands-on experience with equipment such as vacuum packagers, clipping machines, and shrink tunnels
- Knowledge of temperature, time, vacuum level, and handling impact product performance
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- At least 2 years experience, 3 years or more preferred
