Customer Quality Engineer - Shrink Bags

Valgroup is hiring an experienced Customer Quality Engineer for our Shrink Bag division!

This position is hands-on technical customer support for Shrink Bags / PVDC, working cross-functionally with Quality, Production, and Sales to meet customer needs. Experience with shrink bag films and equipment in the protein segment is required.
What you will do:
  • Provide on-site technical support at customer facilities
  • Troubleshoot equipment and product issues
  • Manage product inventory levels at customer locations
  • Inspect products in response to customer complaints
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Conduct customer training sessions and technical demonstrations
  • Identify and recommend product and process improvements
  • Support new product launches and customer development initiatives
  • Schedule and coordinate customer visits and service activities
  • This position can be REMOTE with 25-50% TRAVEL
Skills needed for success:
  • Strong technical and mechanical background to support shrink bags in protein market
  • Knowledge of processes, including product insertion, vacuum, sealing, and shrink
  • Hands-on experience with equipment such as vacuum packagers, clipping machines, and shrink tunnels
  • Knowledge of temperature, time, vacuum level, and handling impact product performance
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • At least 2 years experience, 3 years or more preferred
