Job Description
The customer quality lead for QC will be part of the leadership team and will be accountable to ensure all QC deliverables for customers are completed on time and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and oversee QC deliverables, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
Review customer test methods, method transfers, stability protocols, and responses to regulatory inquiries.
Act as the primary point of contact with program managers and customers for all QC related inquiries.
Build professional relationships with customers during technical meetings (in‑person or remote) and onsite visits.
Monitor progress of agreed‑upon tasks and raise issues or delays, preparing contingency plans with internal partners.
Understand and anticipate customer needs; support the organization and stakeholders in the design of analytical experiments for new products.
Maintain knowledge of the site pipeline to understand customer requests.
Participate in customer meetings when required.
Ensure QAAs are reviewed and approved by Curia and customer stakeholders on time for all QC topics.
Collaborate with the stability team to pull and test stability samples per site procedures and QAA requirements.
Coordinate and assist virtual customer audits in the QC lab as needed.
Partner with business development and sales on QC related deliverables for new products and commercial regulatory deficiencies.
Coordinate with technical services and analytical development to complete customer query responses accurately.
Coordinate with Curia Albany site for testing related requests for specific customer queries.

Qualifications
Minimum Master of Science degree in Chemistry or a related field.
10‑15 years QC, QA, API process development, technical services, or quality experience in pharmaceutical industry at USFDA & EMA regulated facilities.
Experience working with global customers and cross‑functional teams.
Broad knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and international regulations (e.g., 21 CFR 11, 210, 211, 820, EU GMP, ICH Q7).
Familiarity with quality systems for active pharmaceutical ingredients and regulatory guidelines.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical processes and USFDA inspection experience.
Excellent communication, organizational, negotiation, influencing, and collaboration skills.
Strong ability to build consensus, negotiate, and raise issues.
Understanding of quality metrics.
Travel to perform supplier audits and onsite quality support within the U.S. (NY).
Physical and Work Environment
Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, and talk or hear. Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Exposure to fumes, chemicals, wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, and electrical shock. Proper PPE required. Hazardous waste generation, handling, and disposal responsibilities.
Compensation
Pay Range: $117,000 — $146,500. Education, experience, location, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity.
