American Welding & Gas, Inc. – Thoroughbred Industrial Cylinder Exchange Division has an IMMEDIATE opening for a Part Time Customer Service & Operations Tech at our distribution facility in Georgetown, KY. Position Summary As an Installer/Trainer with Thoroughbred Industrial Cylinder Exchange (TICE), you will be responsible for the installation of our Welding Gas to Go!® Cages and the training of our customers at retail locations across the United States. This position is not static and requires up to 60% travel. Other responsibilities include a variety of duties at our warehouse(s) including moving products, packaging products, monitoring workflow, and improving processes (kaizen). All training provided. Deliver and install welding and propane cages at Thoroughbred customer sites. Travel to Thoroughbred customer locations to conduct workshops and training at retail locations for new/existing employees. Establish a routine for contacting, checking on customers, and identifying potential opportunities and threats. Work in Thoroughbred warehouse and build Gaspony products for distribution to customers. Complete all monthly reports on time. Maintain and demonstrate a positive attitude with all associates, customers, vendors, and other business partners. Meet goals and objectives set by and with management. Execute other tasks as may be assigned by management. Qualifications And Education Requirements High School Diploma/ GED. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred. Preferred Skills Welding knowledge/experience preferred. Strong time management and communication skills are paramount. Goal oriented and self-motivated. Microsoft office experience required: specifically; Outlook, Word, and Excel. Valid drivers’ license and clean driving record.
