Responsibilities
- Support agency by processing new business applications and servicing existing policyholder policies.
- Collect complete underwriting information from walk-in/telephone prospects.
- Prepare and present complete and competitive insurance quotes.
- Conduct claims reporting and follow-up.
- Conduct regular account reviews in an effort to improve retention and sell additional coverages (cross selling and account rounding).
- Build and maintain rapport with producers, clients, and insurance company underwriters and sales team.
- Work on individual or corporate projects that may occasionally be assigned by management.
- Maintain records on policy changes.
Requirements
- Holds a P&C Insurance license, or is willing to go through the process to attain P&C license (employer covers cost of all training)
- Has prior insurance industry experience is ideal, but not required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Self-motivated with initiative, integrity, and thoughtfulness
