This individual may be responsible for the daily operation of the vault cash and/or oversee end of day processing activities. They will be knowledgeable of our company's products and services to effectively meet the customer's needs and provide a superior level of customer service.Essential Functions:Transaction Processing & Cash Handling - Process a variety of transactions accurately and efficiently, which may include deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, accurately verifies incoming / outgoing cash, including daily balancing of cash drawer and vaults. May also serve as vault custodian, responsible for the daily operation of the main cash vault.Customer Experience Displays the following attributes: projects a positive image, friendly, outgoing, professional, courteous, resolves problems quickly and efficiently, and is respectful to customers.Product Knowledge and/or Sales Maintains a working knowledge of company products and services in order to communicate effectively with customers. Proficient in using a variety of systems and software applications. May open new accounts, complete complex account maintenance requests and provide qualified referrals to other business lines. Meets assigned sales/referral goals if applicable.Other Duties & Responsibilities:Promotes the Kennebunk Savings Brand by recommending our products and services, supporting our community focus & commitment to being a premier employerUnderstands, supports and adheres to organizational policies and proceduresConsistently emphasizes the importance of teamwork in the department and company at largeResponsible for keeping abreast of company news and informationResponsible for completing required training and policy reviewMay serve on various committeesWillingness to take on additional tasks and dutiesCertifications & Licenses Required:N/ADesired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Displays high level of regard for trust and confidentialityWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office ProductsDisplays strong written and verbal communication skillsDisplays strong organization skills and the ability to multi-task to meet established deadlinesDemonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detailEffectively uses analytical skills to solve technical, as well as, non-technical problemsPrior knowledge of banking regulations is preferredAbility to adapt to changeDesired Job Experience:1-2 years of related experience in financial servicesExperience in a professional, service focused and fast-paced environmentDesired Education:High school or General Education DiplomaWorking Conditions & Minimum Physical Requirements:Physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or other hazardsDexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer and other office equipmentLifting and moving of moderately heavy objects on occasionStanding for extended periods of time
