Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site w/some work from home opportunities, Customer Service role based in Comstock Park, MI. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for assisting clients through phone, email and in-person interactions, managing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring an excellent customer experience. Additional responsibilities include maintaining records of customer communications, providing information about products and services, and working to uphold customer satisfaction standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from quote through order, delivery, and closeout
  • Coordinate with manufacturers on product specs, lead times, and order status
  • Serve as a primary contact for customers—handling inquiries, orders, and issue resolution
  • Support the outside sales team with quotes, product selection, and follow-up
  • Track project details including submittals, approvals, and changes
  • Identify opportunities to support sales growth within active projects 


What we are looking for:

  • Experience in customer service, inside sales, or project coordination (lighting/electrical industry a plus)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
