Our partner is seeking a Customer Service Representative Teller Support Specialist in Plattsburgh, NY. Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service and a positive banking experience by handling financial transactions such as opening accounts and cashing checks.
- Explain and sell products and services to meet customer needs.
- Contact customers to schedule sales appointments and promote products.
- Participate in branch prospecting efforts.
- Assist customers with requests such as stop payments, wire transfers, balance discrepancies, and loan information.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and operational areas.
- Conduct transactions accurately and maintain daily cash balancing according to established guidelines.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Stay focused and demonstrate core values such as strong work ethic, integrity, respect, responsibility, transparency, and humility.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Internal product knowledge and teller training.
- Accurate and proficient math skills.
- Strong attention to detail in documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to think clearly and stay focused.
- Must demonstrate core values: strong work ethics, integrity, respect for others, responsibility, transparency, and humility.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in banking and/or customer service required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Travel to surrounding branches may be required as needed.

- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
- Use of hands and fingers, reaching with hands or arms, and speaking and hearing.
- Occasional lifting or moving of up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to focus.

Compensation
- Minimum: USD $17.50/Hr.
- Maximum: USD $23.82/Hr.
