To learn more about the company, visit us at: OverviewThe Account Specialist (Customer Service Representative) at Stella-Jones is responsible for providing high level customer service to our customers by collaboratively working with Sales team (Sales Directors, Regional Managers, Account Specialists and Sr. Account Specialists). This role is primarily responsible for supporting the Stella-Jones team with quotes, scheduling and order entry and other transactions for our Utility company customers across an assigned region.This is a Monday to Friday onsite role and will be based at our Bellingham manufacturing plant/office, located at 2120 Pacific Street. To learn more about our utility pole and crossarm products you would be supporting (including a 1-minute video overview), visit our product pages: (*Note: Brooks Manufacturing was recently acquired by Stella-Jones)Key Duties:Manages quoted customers for assigned region.Prioritize incoming emails and tasks in order to meet deadlinesProactively communicates pertinent information with cross functional teams and Supervisor as requiredMaintain basic pricing trends within assigned region.Works with Sales Support Specialist for Master Data requestsCommunicate with customers primarily via phone and emailAssist with special projects as neededQualifications:Two (2) or more years of customer service experience requiredB2B customer service experience within the wood products industry, another industrial/manufactured products industry, or the utilities industry preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel) requiredSAP (or other ERP system) experience a plusKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong organizational skills, proactive attitude with exceptional attention to detailCapability to multi-task and work under pressure of deadlinesAbility to work in a team environment and interface interdepartmentallyAbility to make sound decisions with minimum supervision and delegates effectivelyAbility to build strong working relationships and have an excellent customer service recordReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.Note: Employment at Stella-Jones is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.Compensation & Employee Benefits:As a Stella-Jones team member, you will have access to excellent benefits and incentives including:Competitive starting hourly wage for one of these roles: $21.00 to $26.00 an hourAnnual profit-sharing bonus program (typically paid out in December)401(k) savings plan with excellent Company match (150% on the first 4% deferred)Comprehensive total benefits package with 3 medical plans to choose fromSeveral company-paid benefits including:Dental and Vision coverageLife insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) policiesLong-Term Disability CoverageAccess to a robust employee assistance program2 weeks paid vacation and 9 holidaysCareer advancement opportunitiesAbility to purchase Company stockEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
