  • Our client operates Monday through Friday, with start times beginning at 8:00a or 8:30a.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Our representatives handle incoming calls in a fast-paced environment, focusing on delivering outstanding customer service by helping customers and answering their questions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Put the Customer First: You’ll anticipate customer needs, act with their best interests in mind, and go above and beyond to build trust and deliver a great experience.
  • Communicate Clearly: You’ll speak and write in a way that’s easy to understand, open, and professional.
  • Follow Through with Excellence: You’ll stay on top of your responsibilities, meet deadlines, solve problems, and take action when needed.
  • Stay Calm Under Pressure: When tough situations come up, you’ll handle them professionally and with empathy to keep the customer relationship strong.
  • Be Reliable: Stick to your schedule and be ready to take calls during your assigned shifts.
  • Meet Performance Goals: You’ll work to meet or exceed your individual goals and metrics.
  • Support Payment Needs: You’ll help customers with payment processing and resolve any related concerns.
  • Stay on Top of Communication: Respond to all emails from both the client and Velocitii on a daily basis.
  • Keep Records Up to Date: Follow current policies and procedures, including documenting all calls accurately.
  • Pitch In as Needed: Be flexible and open to taking on additional tasks when assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR—IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

Required qualifications:

  • At least one years’ experience in customer service taking inbound calls in a call-center setting.
  • Strong communication skills—both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications efficiently.
  • Experience working in a virtual desktop environment.
  • A distraction-free remote workspace suitable for full-time work.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with AS400

Additional expectations:

  • Ability to participate in virtual interviews using a computer with a functioning camera.
  • Comfortable working in a diverse, inclusive, and team-centric culture.
  • Willingness to complete all pre-employment requirements, including:
    • Internet speed test
    • Background and drug screening
  • The ability to pick up your equipment in our Medina, NY office.
