Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they enter the store and provide assistance with product selection.
- Respond to customer inquiries in person, over the phone, and through email.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on plant care, gardening supplies, and landscaping.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point of sale system.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring displays are well-stocked and appealing.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and receiving shipments.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in horticulture or customer service is a plus.
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A genuine interest in gardening and plant care with a willingness to learn more.
