Customer Service Representative Apply
We are looking to hire a Customer Service Representatuve in the city of Loves Park, IL. This is a contract to hire opportunity to join our Customer Service Department.
Schedule: 7am-3:30pm or 8am-4:30pm
Job type: Fully On-Site; Contract to Hire
Pay: $19-$20/hr
Role Purpose: Receives and processes complex customer orders, inquiries and/or complaints covering items or products ordered and supports customers. Maintains an ongoing relationship with selected customers, sales staff, and product engineering (particularly those focused on technical applications of the product or service). Provide a key communications link to the customer. Cultivate effective business relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides uncompromising service to all customers through accurate and timely processing of orders and inquiries.
- Participate in customer meetings to support delivery concerns.
- Records and processes orders and/or inquiries received via EDI, email, telephone, and/or through personal customer contact.
- Provides pricing, availability, and schedule information within established guidelines.
- Review, approve and confirm orders within SAP system
- Analysis of EDI schedule data and communicate with supply chain any discrepancies from previous revisions.
- Researches and obtains resolution for variety of customer concerns and issues.
- Serves as communication link between customers and staff to assure responsiveness through internal team meetings
- Tracks order activity and alerts appropriate staff of any potential delivery problems
- Expedites the delivery of selected orders.
- Coordinate with all departments to ensure fulfilment of customer requests.
- Resolution of technical difficulties and issues with the customer.
- Complete special projects or tasks as assigned by the Customer Service Team Lead or Supply Chain Manager.
- All other duties as assigned.

- Associates degree or equivalent from 2-year College, or 5+ years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Customer Service experiences in a manufacturing business a plus.
