Parts Customer Service Representative – Temporary
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Full-Time | Temporary – until end of year
We are seeking a skilled and service-oriented Parts Customer Service Representative for temporary assignment based in Oklahoma City. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience in a parts sale's environment. You’ll be the key contact for customers regarding part availability, order processing, and technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, fax, and in person regarding parts pricing and availability
- Assist customers with substitution parts and technical information when required
- Accurately enter customer orders and ensure all required details are captured at time of acceptance
- Communicate order requirements, shipping updates, and delivery timelines to customers and dealers
- Educate customers on order policies, return procedures, and available support services
- Coordinate with service managers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate part fulfillment
- Provide diagrams, part application visuals, and technical support as needed
- Manage transactions, including processing parts purchases and monitoring credit limits
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in spare parts sales, preferably within an industrial or mechanical setting
- High school diploma or technical certification required
- Familiarity with spare parts operations in a dealer parts and service environment is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
- Mechanical experience or product knowledge preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
