Position Overview Mohawk is a family mountain committed to high quality customer service. As a customer service specialist, you are the face of the Mohawk staff, the first person a new customer will be interacting with. Customer service specialists take pride in being fully knowledgeable of all services Mohawk provides and being able to synthesize this information to help customers make the best purchasing decisions. Essential duties and responsibilities Maintain a friendly and cheerful disposition in high‑stress situations. Multi‑task and decisively solve problems under pressure. Greet customers in a pleasant manner. Be knowledgeable of all Mohawk practices to explain them to novice customers. Perform cashiering duties and balance the drawer. Utilize computerized systems to deliver fast and efficient service to customers. Provide customers with information to help them make the best purchasing decisions. Deliver quality customer service experiences. Position Requirements Must be 18 years of age. Outgoing, pleasant, and genial personality. Friendly and enthusiastic. Problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills. Calm demeanor. Ability to multi‑task. Computer literate. Cashiering experience is a plus. Special considerations Must be available from approximately November to March. Must be available weekends and holidays throughout the season. Must be willing to work longer than specified shift at times. Must be willing to accept varied weekly work hours depending on weather, holidays, etc. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers. Must be a respectful, safe, and team‑player.
