Overview Prepares, processes, maintains and analyzes order activities for accounts. Reviews customer forecasts and performance activities in order to prepare for new orders and maximize order fulfillment. Manages customer short-term inventory requirements and serves as a contact with the account’s sales and planning team, or applicable equivalent. All duties are done using multiple applications including personal computer and mainframe, by performing the following duties. Key Responsibilities Evaluates customer and Casio data and develops clear inventory rational for a pro-active approach to Order fulfillment. Works as a team with sales manager, sales support manager, and Casio Planning Manager to determine best order fulfillment practices and accurate reserve inventories. Works as a team with other operational staff on customer production requirements and most efficient means to complete. Receives, prepares and follows through on all customer purchase orders. Initiates research on order fulfillment issues for problem solving and proactive resolutions. Works with Logistics/Vendor Compliance team to address compliance issues, review vendor guides and teams with customer and Sales for optimum information sharing. Provides support and service to various levels at the customer level as well as internal Casio, Inc. staff. Acts as a key contact for sales/buying staff at the customer level. Works with Accounts Receivable to review, address and resolve discrepancies on invoices and other deductions. Analyzes data (order patterns, items ordered, etc) in order to maximize business potential and maintain strong business relationships. Works as a team with Sales and Customer on all Return requests and processes. Works with Sales, Logistics, Distribution, Production, Legal, IT and Accounts Receivable on all new account set ups. Maintains new customer data base, including contract pricing, profile maintenance, ticketing files and address data Creates and maintains instructions for account procedures, including customer requirements, for the purpose of retaining a job aid and creating a cross training system for SOM. Issues customer credits as necessary. All other duties as assigned by other members of management. Education and/or Experience Associate's degree from two year college or technical school and up to one year related experience; or high school diploma/GED and one to three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fraction, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Other Skills and Abilities Ability to use industry standard computing equipment including, but not limited to, Microsoft Windows 3.1, word processing software package(s) (WordPerfect and/or Microsoft Word) and spreadsheet software package(s) (Lotus 1-2-3 and/or Microsoft Excel). Location This role is hybrid and requires a minimum of 3 days on-site in our Rockaway, NJ office. This position offers a base salary range from $45,000 to $55,000 a year, determined by a variety of factors including relevant skills, experience, location, business needs and market demand.
