This is highly responsible customer service-oriented work and focuses on providing timely status updates to our customers about their project.
Customer Support Specialist Responsibilities
- Responsible for communicating with our customers and providing them with clear and accurate project information.
- Utilizing our internal client information database, and communicating with other departments to obtain project information updates as needed.
- Responsible for updating database with information communicated to customer.
- Responsible for composing and preparing replies to customer inquiries independently using word processing software (Outlook).
- Using correct and updated application forms to assist with filling out permit applications forms with clear and accurate customer and property information within various municipalities/Counties.
- Mailing application forms to customers for signatures.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification.
- Minimum of two (2) years of diversified general office/clerical experience.
- Experience with providing customer service in person, over the telephone, and via email in an office environment.
- Thorough knowledge of business English, spelling, and grammar.
- Ability to perform word processing and/or data entry.
- Ability to compose effective and accurate correspondence.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public.
