Merchant Support Representative

Location: Scottsdale, AZ (100% In-Office)


Our client, a growing tech organization, is seeking Merchant/Customer Support Representatives to join their Scottsdale-based team. This is an entry-level opportunity designed as a career launchpad, with a strong emphasis on internal promotion and long-term growth. Many employees begin in this role and advance into other departments across the organization.


Position Overview

The Merchant Support team serves as the frontline support for merchants, handling high-volume inbound calls and email inquiries while resolving technical and account-related issues. This role is ideal for candidates who are adaptable, communicative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound phone calls and email inquiries from merchants
  • Resolve merchant issues and manage support tickets
  • Navigate and document cases using an internal CRM system
  • Communicate clearly and professionally while actively listening to merchant needs
  • Learn and adapt quickly to evolving systems, processes, and technologies


Schedule & Compensation

  • Pay: up to $18/hr
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, Flexible 8-hour shifts between 6:00am–5:00pm, plus 1 hour lunch break
  • Bonus: Small year-end performance-based bonus


Qualifications

  • New grads or Candidates from restaurant or hospitality backgrounds encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and manage conflict professionally
  • Ambitious, motivated, and interested in long-term growth within one organization
