Customer Support Technician Apply
Job Summary:
The Customer Support Technician provides comprehensive computer and user support, including hardware and software installation, configuration, upgrades, and advanced technical assistance. This role involves monitoring service ticket queues, resolving issues, documenting solutions, and providing on-site support, including travel to various locations. The technician will also handle audio-visual equipment, basic network and telephony support, and contribute to team projects.

Responsibilities:
- Configure and deploy IT resources, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
- Assist with audio-visual setup and video conference support.
- Participate in annual inventory scanning and equipment surplus.
- Install, configure, and update software.
- Document solutions to technology issues.
- Travel to remote sites to resolve IT issues and deploy resources.
- Monitor service ticket queue and resolve tickets as assigned.
- Document work performed and resolutions.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot audio-visual and video conference equipment.
- Perform basic network and telephony support.
- Provide on-site support for remote troubleshooting.
- Follow and enforce departmental procedures and policies.
- Participate in team projects, meetings, and assignments.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the installation, maintenance, and technical support of workstation hardware.
- OR 1 year of experience providing customer service and technical support with Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 10 or above operating systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb a ladder, squat, stoop, push, crawl, and bend in all types of weather.
- Initiative, communication, customer service, decision-making, flexibility, interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving, team building, and quality assurance skills.
