Job Summary: Customer Support Technician will handle in-house and onsite repairs and calibrations of ATEQ Leak and Flow quality testing instruments.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Service and calibration of ATEQ products returned from customers.
Application design and set up for new and existing ATEQ and VIC equipment.
Travel to customers for onsite service, calibration, and tech support.
Maintain proper documentation of services.
Answer service-related phone calls from customers.
Troubleshoot customer issues over phone or email.
Perform ISO 17025 Calibrations according to the procedures.
Make follow up calls to customers with recently serviced instruments.
Quote repairs/calibrations in the workshop or onsite
Assist in integration of ATEQ and VIC customer support departments
Assist in Design and engineering for sales team
Required Skills/Abilities:
Associate degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Technology
Two years of relevant experience
Technical background with the ability to operate various types of service and calibration equipment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in direct face to face customer service on and off site
Ability to follow processes with attention to detail.
Valid Drivers License
Physical Requirements:
Customer on site attendance 50% of the time in the following geographic regions: Southeast, Midwest, and Michigan/Ohio.
Sitting for prolonged periods of time
Able to lift up to 75 pounds
