Position Summary:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Customs Entry Writer with experience in U.S. import operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing customs entries, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating documentation for air and ocean import shipments. Experience with CargoWise is highly preferred.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process customs entries for air and ocean shipments in compliance with U.S. Customs and PGA regulations
  • Review and verify import documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, arrival notices, etc.)
  • Communicate with customers, carriers, and government agencies to ensure timely cargo release
  • Classify shipments under the correct HTS codes and ensure accuracy in all data entries
  • Maintain compliance with CBP, FDA, USDA, and other regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve entry discrepancies or documentation issues

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in customs entry writing, brokerage, or import coordination
  • Strong understanding of U.S. Customs regulations and HTS classification
  • Proficiency with CargoWise or other logistics software strongly preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
