Cut Floor Supervisor Apply
As a Cut Floor Supervisor at Prestage, you will lead and coordinate the daily operations on the cut floor to ensure smooth production, high-quality output, and adherence to safety standards. You will supervise a team of employees, manage workflow, and work closely with other departments to meet production goals efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide cut floor staff to ensure efficient and accurate operations.
- Manage and prioritize daily production schedules and workloads.
- Monitor product quality and compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Enforce safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to employees.
- Coordinate with management and other departments to optimize processes and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records of production, staffing, and inventory levels.
- Address and troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions or operational challenges promptly.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing or meat processing environment.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards.
- Familiarity with operational procedures and relevant software tools.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds.
- Comfort working in cold and wet facility environments.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to work varied shifts as needed.
- Occasional travel may be required.
