Certified Surgical Technologist - Open Heart Experience Required Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shift: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM On-call requirements: Typically 2 days during the week and every 2nd to 3rd weekend. One on-call holiday may be applicable. Job Description As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in the operating room, particularly in open heart surgeries. Your expertise will contribute to the efficiency of surgical teams and patient safety. Responsibilities Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field. Handle surgical instruments and supplies appropriately. Support the surgical team during operations. Ensure safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after surgery. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Certification as a Surgical Technologist is mandatory. Open Heart experience is required. Current BLS License.
