Certified Orthopedic Technician - Outpatient Care Location Westlake Village, CA Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Day 5x8-Hour Shift (08:30 AM - 05:30 PM) Job Description We are seeking a Certified Orthopedic Technician to join our outpatient facility. The primary responsibilities will include casting, splinting, and fitting braces for patients. Candidates must possess a valid Orthopedic Certification (OTC) from NCBOT and have a minimum of 2 years of outpatient experience. Responsibilities Provide orthopedic casting, splinting, and bracing services to patients. Ensure accurate fitting and adjustments of orthopedic devices. Assist with patient education regarding care and usage of orthopedic devices. Handle associated administrative duties such as charting and patient records. Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver optimal patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must hold the Orthopedic Certification (OTC) from NCBOT. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient care setting. No on-call or weekend work is required.
