Job Description
Who we're looking for:
- Client ESV's (Electronic Systems Vehicle) Vehicle Development team is seeking a collaborative engineer to work on Body Electronics.
- The primary responsibility of this role is vehicle development for Body Electronics.
- Reporting to the Vehicle Development Senior Manager, the person in this role will work to fill Electronic Systems Vehicle's objective of building a NA electronics center of excellence that complements Client Global direction.
What you'll be doing:
- Vehicle application of Body Electronics (Body ECU, AC ECU, etc.)
- Plan structure and design of Body Electronics through target setting, packaging and style feasibility that balances performance, customer needs and cost while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Issue design specifications to suppliers and manage supplier schedule, performance and quality
- Manage part list and issue internal design documents including engineering change instructions and wiring specifications
Requirements:
What you bring:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills
- 5 years or more as an electrical design engineer
- Must be able to work up to 30% Overtime
What you may bring:
- Experience in vehicle electronics development
- Experience in CATIA
