Cybersecurity Engineer*LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY**NO SPONSORSHIP* Title: Cybersecurity EngineerCompensation: $110,000 - $130,000Work Environment: Remote (occasional in office, ~2 days per month)Daily Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm CSTLocation: Skokie, ILBenefits: M/D/V, 401K, Pet Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, & More Cybersecurity Engineer Job Responsibilities: Enhance the company's cybersecurity and ensure the protection of the organization's data Design and implement security policies for devices and systems Participate in compliance audits, manage security projects, and ensure alignment with HIPA as well as other applicable laws and regulations Document and refine procedures and techniques used by security team Review logs from security tools, including IPS/IDS, secure email gateway, data loss prevention, antivirus, & more Oversee security for internal and external systems including cloud services Provide mentorship for junior staff members Cybersecurity EngineerEducation/Experience: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or similar degree Minimum of 5+ years of relevant professional work experience Have obtained at least one cybersecurity certification, preferred Experience leading security initiatives Previous Healthcare experience preferred Cybersecurity EngineerRequired Skills: Strong background and dep knowledge of information security principles Proven hands-on experience of advanced security protocols and standards Ample experience working with desktop, server, network, and application security teams Proven project management abilities, preferably within the cybersecurity space Skilled with common security testing methods and tools including but not limited to email security, data loss prevention, IDS/IPS, EDR, anti-malware, and proxy tools, amongst others Previous experience with HIPPA, ITIL, NIST, and PM Build a rewarding long-term career with us at CFS-when we knock, doors open.
