Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our Enterprise Cybersecurity Team in Midland, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding critical systems and data through the design, implementation, and management of security measures. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in threat analysis, incident response, and a collaborative approach to ensuring a robust cybersecurity posture.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and enforce comprehensive security policies, procedures, and standards to protect organizational data.
• Design and deploy security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other protective measures.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and threat analyses to identify and address potential risks.
• Lead incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.
• Monitor security systems and logs to detect, analyze, and mitigate suspicious activities.
• Partner with IT teams to ensure security is integrated across all infrastructure components.
• Investigate emerging security technologies and recommend solutions to enhance defense capabilities.
• Conduct training sessions to raise employee awareness about cybersecurity threats and best practices.• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement security policies and solutions.
• Solid understanding of threat analysis, mitigation techniques, and incident response.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001.
• Proficiency in tools and technologies like firewalls, endpoint detection, data loss prevention, cloud security, SIEM, IAM, and privileged access management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex security issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
