This role supports a variety of teams—Engineering, Sales, and Legal—by addressing security‑related questions and ensuring our products and systems remain secure and compliant. Whether you're from a software development background looking to move into security, or are an experienced software security analyst, this is your chance to grow with us. Responsibilities Analyze and assess CVE reports; recommend mitigations, workarounds, and remediation steps Support ongoing governance and compliance Contribute to the security hardening of BlueCat products Collaborate cross‑functionally with Engineering, Sales, Legal, and Compliance teams Support product penetration testing by maintaining target systems Qualifications 4+ years of experience with Unix/Linux systems Ability to understand code in languages such as Java or C is required Understanding of software architectures, data‑flows, and data‑protection principles Strong understanding of software development practices Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Shell, Python) Excellent communication skills—both technical and non‑technical Solid understanding of IP networking and protocols (e.g., IPv4/6, TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP) Familiarity with higher‑layer protocols and security architectures (e.g., TLS, SSH) Knowledge of compliance domains such as SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR Benefits Professional Development Budget Dedicated Wellness Days and Wellness Week Lifestyle Spending Account Employee Recognition Program If you share our enthusiasm for the future of our company and are eager to contribute to our vibrant workplace, we look forward to receiving your application!
