Job Title: Cybersecurity Risk Analyst (DSHS, Documentation & Stakeholder Engagement)
Location: Austin, Tx (Onsite - Local candidates only)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Mandatory Qualifications- Experience evaluating and reviewing cybersecurity tools and controls to identify gaps, provide recommendations, and implement risk reduction plans
- Ability to design, prepare, and present supporting documentation including project plans, status reports, briefings, presentations, and stakeholder communication materials
- Proven experience gathering and analyzing information through research, interviews, meetings, and workshops to understand organizational objectives, processes, challenges, and improvement opportunities
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience interacting with internal and external partners to identify, analyze, and resolve complex security issues
- Experience performing core project management activities, including project charters, communication management, risk management, and resource coordination
- Demonstrated ability to edit and manage technical documentation, ensuring clarity, consistency, formatting standards, and timely updates
- Experience producing progress reports and executive-level briefing materials
- Advanced experience evaluating cybersecurity programs, controls, and tools to drive organizational risk reduction initiatives
- Strong background in preparing executive-level reports, presentations, and communication materials for diverse stakeholders
- Extensive experience conducting organizational assessments and translating findings into actionable improvements
- Proven ability to lead discussions with cross-functional and external stakeholders on complex cybersecurity or risk-related topics
- Enhanced project coordination experience supporting multiple concurrent initiatives
- Advanced documentation management skills, including maintaining and updating technical and procedural documentation
- Evaluate existing cybersecurity tools, controls, and processes to identify gaps and recommend improvements
- Develop and implement risk reduction plans aligned with organizational objectives
- Create, maintain, and present project documentation, status reports, briefings, and communication materials
- Conduct research and facilitate interviews, meetings, and workshops to assess organizational needs and opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams, business partners, and external stakeholders to resolve complex security and operational issues
- Support project management activities to ensure timely and successful completion of short-term and strategic initiatives
- Review, edit, and update technical documentation for accuracy, clarity, and consistency
- Prepare progress reports and briefing materials for leadership and stakeholders
