Key Responsibilities
goLance is seeking a Data Analyst – Lead Generation Specialist to help source, integrate, and exploit relevant SEC filings information into a database to generate high quality leads for a Business Development team. This role involves vetting and cross-checking data against existing records to ensure accuracy and removing outdated or redundant entries. You'll be tasked with standardizing data formats for consistency and collaborating with teams to capture feedback and understand specific data requirements. Documenting your methodologies and providing periodic reports on metrics, such as database growth and data accuracy, will also be vital components of your role.
As a Data Analyst for Lead Generation, you will be responsible for sourcing and integrating relevant contact information into leads databases. You'll be tasked with standardizing data formats for consistency and collaborating with teams to capture feedback and understand specific data requirements. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proficiency in interacting with APIs, particularly with making HTTP requests (GET and POST) and understanding API endpoints.
- Ability to parse and extract relevant information from structured data formats such as JSON.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python for data extraction and processing.
- Knowledge of SQL or other database querying languages, with the ability to cross-reference and validate data with internal databases.
- Understanding of API authentication mechanisms, such as using API keys.
- Proven experience in database management, data extraction, and normalization.
- Proficiency in using database management software and data normalization tools.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, and Python libraries like Matplotlib and Seaborn, to effectively present and visualize data insights.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- English proficiency at an advanced or native level.
- Resides in a time zone ranging from PST (Pacific Standard Time) to AST (Atlantic Standard Time).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
