The Center for Neuroimaging is seeking a detail-oriented MRI and PET Imaging Data Specialist to join our team as a Data Analyst.
In this role, the Data Analyst will be involved with processing, validating, and automating complex analyses of MRI and PET imaging data. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, they will contribute to cutting-edge research in healthcare by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of imaging analysis results while streamlining and automating these processes.

$50,000 - $56,000 per year based on experience

Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Develops and implements data processing pipelines for MRI and PET datasets, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in analysis.
- Conducts thorough validation of imaging analysis results, identifies and rectifies discrepancies or anomalies.
- Collaborates with research faculty and staff to understand research objectives and data requirements for MRI and PET imaging studies.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate imaging data with electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant datasets.
- Stays abreast of industry trends and advancements in imaging data processing, contributing to the enhancement of analytical methodologies.
- Makes recommendations for implementation to improve data analysis services and approaches.
- Provides analysis of existing data and data structures and satisfies ad-hoc reporting/analysis requests.
- Consults with faculty and/or staff to identify new business reporting needs and provides guidance and interpretation of data.
- Documents data analysis efforts (data sources, reporting specifications, tools, issue/problem resolutions).
- Researches and stays up-to-date on emerging technologies and tools.

- Bachelor's degree (preferably in computer science, information science, or related field)
