JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/ Objectives
The Data Analyst Manufacturing & Supply Chain supports operational and supply chain decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to production, inventory, purchasing, logistics, and supplier performance. This role transforms complex operational and supply chain data into actionable insights that improve efficiency, reduce cost, mitigate risk, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Data Collection & Management
- Collect data from ERP, MES, quality systems, and supplier portals
- Clean, validate, and standardize datasets related to production, inventory, and purchasing
- Maintain data models and master data integrity (items, BOMs, routings, suppliers)
Manufacturing Analytics
- Analyze production metrics including throughput, cycle time, scrap, yield, downtime, and on-time delivery
- Support capacity planning, labor utilization analysis, and production scheduling decisions
- Develop dashboards and reports for shop floor and leadership teams
Supply Chain Analytics
- Analyze inventory levels, turns, aging, excess and obsolete (E&O) material
- Monitor supplier performance including lead time, on-time delivery, quality, and cost trends
- Support demand planning, forecasting accuracy, and material availability analysis
Reporting & Decision Support
- Create KPI dashboards and scorecards across operations and supply chain functions
- Provide ad hoc analysis to support sourcing, pricing, and logistics decisions
- Translate data into insights for cross-functional teams (Production, Purchasing, Quality, Finance)
Process Improvement & Automation
- Automate reporting and data workflows to reduce manual effort
- Improve visibility of supply chain and operational metrics
- Document data definitions, reporting standards, and analytics best practices

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has not supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. The position requires working in all areas within the facility, including the manufacturing area. While in the manufacturing area, the team member is exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the manufacturing environment can be loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. Position Type & Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position may occasionally require long hours and weekend work.
Travel
Some travel will be required to the various PUCK locations, including out-of-the area and overnight travel.
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in information systems, Business Analytics, Finance, Math, Statistics, or relevant field.Or
- 1 3 years of experience in data analysis within manufacturing or supply chain environments
Preferred Education & Experience
- Experience with demand planning, MRP logic, and inventory optimization
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, SPC, or supplier quality systems
- Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Power Pivot, complex formulas)
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- SQL and relational database experience
