Our client, a leading organization in the retail industry, is seeking a Data & Analytics Analyst - Shift 1 to join their team. As a Data & Analytics Analyst - Shift 1, you will be part of the Sourcing - In-Stock department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. Please note that this is an in office position. Remote or hybrid schedules are not offered. Job Title: Data & Analytics Analyst - Shift 1 Location: Cincinnati, OH Please note that this is an in office position. Remote or hybrid schedules are not offered. Pay Rate: $39.13 Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm What's the Job? Monitor stock levels, out-of-stock products, and key performance indicators for suppliers and commodities. Conduct root cause analysis to identify drivers of stock gaps, including forecasting, capacity, inventory flow, and logistics issues. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate insights and support decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate data inputs and improve reporting accuracy. Track recovery timelines and supplier performance against commitments to ensure stock availability. What's Needed? Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or related fields. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with other data analysis tools such as SQL or similar platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new tools and systems.
